& Rest Area Grounds

The rest area is open and staffed 24 hours a day. The grounds are equipped with picnic shelters, tables and charcoal grills. There is a paved walkway that meanders around the grounds and a designated area for pets to enjoy a travel break. Parking is plentiful with ample room for recreational vehicles, motor coaches and vehicles towing trailers.

Patriotic Rock

The Patriotic Rock at Top of Iowa features the stories of women who served and their varied duties in the military. The Rock was painted by Ray "Bubba" Sorenson, known for his 99-county Freedom Rock Tour.
